PSHE and the National Police Chiefs’ Council have produced a guide to how the police can work most effectively with schools to address some of the issues facing children today, recognising the valuable contribution the police can make to PSHE education.
This handbook will:
- demonstrate examples of current good practice
- identify the best approaches to using the police in PSHE education
- provide tips, practical guidance and support for PSHE lessons
The handbook also summarises the latest research into the benefits of schools working in partnership with the police to deliver PSHE education, as well as some guidance on PSHE-themed assemblies.
